As I mentioned, I really love traveling. I like to visit new cities, cross them off the list, and plan on going back once my list is complete (although I might have to make an exception for Reykjavik, Tokyo, Taipei, Rome, and Shanghai - those need another visit sooner than later).
The list, which always seems to be growing, just got a few new things added to it. I found this photo list of lost cities (what? entire lost cities, found!) over at Coudal, and am planning on adding these to my big travel. Except X'ian. That one's already crossed off.
I should also take this opportunity to mention that as a youngin' there was a brief moment in time where I thought I might be an architect, you know like Mr. Jones.

As you might have deduced, my name is sabs.
Only that's not totally true. I was actually born Sabrina, and haven't legally changed my name to sabs, so it's not true at all. But just go with it, okay? My name is sabs. It's just easier that way. Who needs all those syllables anyway?
Now that we've got that out of the way, I'll spill the beans and tell you all about myself.
- I'm a nerd. It's true, I once programmed my C64 to say "Happy Birthday Sabrina!" over and over. I was four.
- According to my pal Jeff I like "depressingly, brooding, epic music." -- also true, some of my fave bands include Blur (circa Blur), The Dears, and Sigur Ros.
- I love traveling. I'm lucky enough to have seen many different countries. My favorite country is probably Iceland, although I do have a special place in my heart for Taiwan. Mostly I like going places to visit their grocery stores and eat all their food.
- I'm not quite a native Californian (we moved here when I was about one, and have no memories of life prior to that) and I currently live in San Francisco. I have a pretty cute house with one of those elusive SF backyards. I live there with Randall. He and I are getting married soon.
- I'm a banana slug who double majored in Computer Science and Art/Photography. I'm not totally sure any of my jobs have ever really utilized my education to its full capacity.
- I have a freckle in my left eye. I also have a ton of them on my face. Other than these constantly emerging freckles, I have pretty much looked the same since I was a kid.
- And finally, I turned thirty this year. I am trying not to be a gross aging hipster, but I am also trying not to wear mom jeans. God help us all.
